Hi! My name is Mary Griffiths, and as my blog bio says I am a motorcycle-riding, paper hoarding, Copic loving ribbon-a-holic and I love to stamp! That pretty much sums me up in a nutshell! I've been stamping for about 12 years now and I mostly make cards but, from time to time, I will dabble in scrapbooking or 3-D projects. I work as a school secretary at our local elementary school. When I'm not stamping, you'll find me riding the back roads of Maryland and surrounding areas with my husband on my very own motorcycle. Hello Everyone! Welcome to this week's Spotlight Friday! We have another special Guest Designer to share with you today! Let me introduce you to the talented Rayna from Purple Peeps Techniques!

I am a stay at home mom to 3 awesome kids, I have two daughters ages 10 & 13, and then my little guy is my 7 year old. My husband is so great and always encourages me to enjoy my hobbies. I first began scrapbooking about 13 years ago when my oldest daughter was born. I started out really basic with lots of die cuts and stickers, it's still so funny to go back to those first scrapbooks and look at my pages! Sometimes it takes all I have not to start over with new ideas, but I think it's good to save those as they are just to see where you started :)

In my spare time, I have recently started homeschooling my oldest daughter, so we're pretty busy! We have the awesome opportunity to be in a co-op with some great friends, so we are really enjoying that. It's going to take a little while to get ourselves in a good schedule, but we're getting there. I am currently on the design teams for Celebrate the Occasion, Crazy About Cricut, and Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge blogs. I love doing all sorts of crafts, photography and paper crafting so everything from cards and scrapbooking to home decor. I also make jewelry occasionally, hair bows & flowers for my girls. Some of my favorite products are from My Mind's Eye, K and Company, and Bo Bunny. We R Memory Keepers has some awesome tools I use all the time.

Hi! My name is MaryBeth. A little bit about me... I'm a Christian; I have been married to the most amazing & charming man for eight years. We have one child who is seven and the most wonderful little boy! I have lived in Tennessee my entire life and really couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Although, a second home near the beach would be fantastic! I have always loved anything that has something to do with art. As far back as I can remember I was always coloring or drawing. At the age of thirteen my mother enrolled me in private painting classes and I loved it! In 2007 I basically woke up one morning and decided that making a scrapbook for my mom for Mother’s day would be a fabulous gift and well the rest is history!

Hi, I'm Felicia of "Scrapper in the Making". I'm married to my handsome husband, Fred of 7 years and looking forward to many more. I'm a first time mom to our beautiful little 2yr old girl and a step-mother to 4 wonderful children(2-boys, 2-girls). When I'm not enchanted with my little one and family, I'm scrapping 'til the weeee, weeee hours :-). My DH bought me my Cricut Expression for Christmas in 2009. When I finally opened it (3-4mo later), I was hooked at first cut. That's when my inner Scrap-Beast was unleashed (LOL).
I'm not sure what represents my crafting style as yet, but making cards are my top favorite to crafting. I'm slowly getting into scrapbooking; I don't want to get too far behind in my daughter's growing years. I Love, Love, Love trying various techniques that I find on different Blogs, Youtube, StampTV and now... My Craft Channel! (This channel is sooo amazing, you gotta check it out). I really like learning and trying various inking techniques, so I try to incorporate them in my projects as much as possible no matter how bold or suttle. I have a love for various products out there and wish I could afford them all. I still do a little graphic designing which is what I did waaaay before I ever knew what a Cricut was. I have an insane obsession lately with stamps (Clear, Rubber (Mounted/Un-mounted, Cling, Foam...etc). It's amazing with all that I have, I have only duplicated a stamp I already had maybe 1 or 2 times. My best inspiration of crafting comes from being with my daughter. Crafting for me is a Inner Peace and Joy. Without it... you don't wanna mess with me.(LOL). I'm so honored to be asked to be a Guest Designer today at "Birthday Sundaes". There is some amazing talent on this blog. Thanks for inviting me to share some of Myself with You. Hello! I am a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, "mom" to my two little pups, etc.... I have been crafting for quite some time now... My mom is very "crafty" and she would do crafts with me and my sister when were kids. We would paint Christmas ornaments, draw, and all kinds of other fun stuff!
I bought my Cricut Expression in 2009, and I have been so impressed with how this machine has helped me in so many ways!!!! It has been able to breathe new life into this hobby, and I am pretty much addicted to it (I use it on almost every project)! I also enjoy using my Gypsy and Cuttlebug. My favorite thing to make is cards, but I try to make something different every now and then. :) Other than crafting, I enjoy baking, reading, gardening, etc...
When I am not at home (or hanging out with friends and family), I am at work as a first grade teacher. I love teaching! I started teaching Kindergarten at age 23, and I taught there for 2 years. For the last 4 years I have been teaching first grade, and I LOVE it! Even as a kid I knew I wanted to be a teacher. My sister and I would "play school" and pretend we were teachers. The funny thing is that now we are both teachers, and we teach at the same school!!!! It's so much fun!
I created my blog as a place to post pictures of my "stuff" and I hope that someone out there will be inspired to blow the dust off of their crafting supplies and get started! ;) I would be thrilled if you checked out my blog, redheadedcrafter.blogspot.com..... I am a Jesus-Follower, a wife to my best friend for 14 years, and a mother to two beautiful children ages 5 & 8 (and a very spoiled 1-year-old Bichon ShihTzu). I'm a HomeSchooler, which gives our family a lot more time together, as well as the freedom to travel. Living in beautiful Canada, we love to take Winter vacations to WARM destinations - like *DisneyWorld*, which, in my opinion, IS the happiest place on earth. :)

I have been crafting in some way or another for as long as I can remember. I have dabbled in sketching (pencil drawings are my favorite!), painting, cross-stitching, and cake decorating, just to name a few. I bought my Cricut in April, 2011 to help me out with HomeSchooling, Sunday School lessons, and *Birthday Parties* (I throw a wicked Birthday Party!). I began searching the internet for ideas and discovered the wonderful world of card-making, and a brand new hobby (addiction?) was born. I started blogging soon after that, and since then I have learned so many new techniques, and I have made some wonderful friends. :)

Next to crafting, my favorite thing to do to relax is read, and I have large library I've built up over the years. After moving my collection to a new house this past summer, I've asked for an e-reader for Christmas - much easier to pack and transport! :)

I am so honoured to be a Guest Designer for Birthday Sundaes! I have kind of a thing for Birthdays, so this is one of my favorite Challenge Blogs. Thanks so much for the opportunity! :)

Hello crafting friends :) My name is Sarah :) So a little bit about me I dabbled with paper crafts a long time ago-- my sister actually used to rubber stamp when she was in Jr. High and High School and I made fun of her :) Then it wasn't until about 7 or 8 years ago I attended my first in home stamping party that I really loved what I saw, but never thought I could "do that." I would say the last 4 years have been when I have really bloomed in my crafting. It's my relaxation and my creative outlet! And I must say I think the blog world is really, really becoming my friend.
I love to make cards! I also will occasionally alter projects as well--it really depends on my mood. I've tried to scrap book but I just can't seem to fall in love with it like I do when making cards or altering projects. I am however, beginning to realize that I need to alter more projects versus just buying the items to alter... just don't remind my husband about my composition notebooks please :)

I LOVE supplies...I always wanna try the latest and greatest thing but sometimes the pocket book certainly doesn't allow for that. I don't know if I have a crafting favorite but I really do love my Cricut...but I love brads and watercoloring and so on and on and on... :)

In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends. I work full-time at a University and that keeps me super busy! So when I'm not working I love going to baseballs games (Go Twins) and I love going to college hockey games (Go Sioux) with my hubby. I also enjoy sitting back and sipping on a delicious bubble tea with my bestie.

My love for crafting start when I was very young. My grandmother was a seamstress and I would sit for hours with her boxes of buttons, lace and trims. It was love at first sight. My mom taught me to crochet, my aunt to knit, I taught myself to cross stitch and have many samplers on my walls. When the weather permits I am in my flower garden. About 10 years ago I bought a K&Company scrapbook kit and knew my life would never be the same. I had my husband buy me a cricut expression for Christmas in 2007 and starting making cards. I find it a great stress reliever. At the end of a busy day I get to choose all the color shapes and sizes no wrong or right. It's also so gratifying to give a card and make someone's day happy. My favorite thing currently are 6x6 paper pads they are the perfect size for card making and easier to store.

Hello, this is Adrian! I am so excited to be a Guest Designer for Birthday Sundaes. I started scrapbooking November 2008. My sister thought it would be a great idea for me to help her finish a scrapbook page. The only problem was I had never scrapbooked. So, we journeyed out on Black Friday and purchased a lot of stuff. Hence, the addiction was started. Along came the Cricut in January 2010, the point of no return. I have not done any scrapbooking since, only card making, I created a blog and have a challenge blog, who knew!! When I am not crafting, I am enjoying time with my fabulous husband and 3 Yorkies!!!!

I am LaKesha. I am married with 4 children. I have been scrapbooking for about 5 years and I absolutely love it. I just recently started making card back in February of this year. I never thought that I would be able to make my own cards. My girlfriend came over on day to scrap and showed me how to make one and I have been making them since that day. I love learning new techniques especially card folding techniques. My only other hobby is shopping. Scrapbooking and shopping are two of the worst hobby to have. (at least that's what my hubby says) Nothing brings me as much joy as looking back throughout out my life and preserving memories that will last forever or me and my family.

Hello Everyone! It is Friday which means another Spotlight Friday here at Birthday Sundaes! This week I have another talented Guest Designer to introduce you to. Please join me in welcoming Nancie! Nancie has two blogs, punchcreations and My Magnolia Cre8tions. Here is a little about Nancie!

Hello everyone. My name is Nancie Quah and I am thrilled to have been asked by Amber from Birthday Sundae to be a Guest Designer for the month of October. I live in Selangor, Malaysia with DH and two adorable daughters (10 and 4). I have very flexible office hours. I spend my afternoon with my papers and the rest of my evening always for my sweeties.

I have been involving in card making since 2006. I started off with punched art with my daughter and in early 2010 I ventured into rubber stamps.

At presents I am try out some altered art projects and plan to pick up paper scrapbooking. Crafts have no boundaries. I can do whatever I want on my creations and I always enjoy my crafting moments.

My big passion and addiction is definitely stamping and card making. I am fascinated with the huge variety of images and stuff to work on. Since I started blogging few years ago, it opened so many other sides to me;

Crafting has created a lot of opportunities me to meet lovely friends and sharing the ideas/techniques all around the world, through blogs, challenges and FB. I never lost inspirations for new creations since then.

Goodmorning Birthday Sundaes Fans! Another Spotlight Friday for you today! This week we are spotlighting Sabrina from Scrappin' with Sabrina! Let's meet her!

My name is Sabrina Goldberg and I am so excited and honored to be a Birthday Sundaes Guest Designer! I started my blog, http://scrappinwithsabrina.blogspot.com, back in May this year to be able to post my scrapbooking and other paper craft projects, and I am having so much fun with it! Not only am I enjoying posting projects, but I am enjoying meeting so many wonderful crafty blog friends!

I went to my first Creative Memories party when my son was a few months old, back in 1999. I bought an album, a few pens, and the circle cutter. I didn't do anything with those products until 2003 when I decided to start scrapbooking! I started taking classes at a local scrapbook store, and then I was hooked!

I really try to stay current with my scrapbooking because I feel it's very important for me to keep track of our family memories for the future. We love going back and looking through the years of scrapbooks. It's fun for me to see how I have progressed in my scrapbooking too (thank goodness!) In the past year and a half, I have ventured into card making and a few altered projects, which I love!

My favorite products to use are either my QuicKutz and/or my Cricut. I use them on most all projects. With card making, I have ventured into stamping which has been so much fun! I love Stampin' Up, Papertrey Ink, and Close to my Heart products. I am a real girly girl, so I love using bling, whether it's rhinestones, pearls, Stickles, or flowers, most of my projects will have at least one of those elements. Although I have a son, even his pages may have a hint of bling somewhere!

In my spare time, I volunteer for my son's school and football team. I enjoy walking, and spending time with my family and friends. I am a homebody and love being in my craft room (dining room turned craft room, LOL!) I enjoy reading my crafty friends' blogs, reading my craft magazines, and watching paper project tutorials and videos.

Thank you again to the Birthday Sundaes Design Team for this wonderful opportunity! I love the Birthday Sundaes challenges and am honored to be a Guest Designer this week!

Welcome to another Spotlight Friday! Is everyone enjoying the current Birthday Card Challenge? We have another wonderfully talented guest designer to introduce you to this week. Since this Sunday is September 11, I thought it would be an honor to spotlight the wife of a military man this week!

Let me introduce you to Ashley from

Marine Wife's Scrappin' Life

I'm a 40-yr-old mother of one HANDSOME 11-year-old son (bd 9/26/99) and one PRECIOUS 2-year-old son (bd 1/16/09). I've been married to the most wonderful man in the world for 6 1/2 years, and I LOOOOOVE being a Marine wife! My husband has helped me through some very hard times, and I wouldn't be the person I am today without his love and support. He is my rock, my soul mate, and my one true love; without him, I am nothing. He is a gunnery sergeant (active-duty) in the United States Marine Corps (19 1/2 years!), and I am proud and honored to stand beside him as his wife. I've been paper crafting since my oldest was just a few years old, but my style has evolved SOOO much!! My husband and children are my inspiration, and most of my layouts focus on them. I enjoy altering different things, and I've recently gotten into card making and found that I LOOOOVE it!!!!! There are still things I want to learn and techniques I want to try, and I'm always looking for more inspiration!

Hello Everyone! Welcome to another Spotlight Friday here at Birthday Sundaes! This week we are bringing back one of our talented past DT members as our Guest Designer! Please welcome Cindy from Creating with the Heart!

I have owned rubber stamps since I was a little girl and I would decorate envelopes and letters with stamps and stickers before mailing them. I discovered Stampin' Up about 15 years ago and I began to make cards for friends and family. I have been married for 6 years and have a son 4 1/2 and a daughter 3. I have always scrapbooked but it was after my children were born that I discovered the Cricut and now scrapbooking has become more than a hobby but a little bit of an obsession. I enjoy spending time with family, reading, cooking and playing Angry Birds.

Goodmorning! Another Spotlight Friday here and we have another talented crafter to introduce you to this week! Her name is Theresa from Scrappers Anonymous!

First I want to "THANK" Birthday Sundaes for asking me to be a Guest Designer! What a HUGE Honor!
I wanted to share a little bit about me... I'm a stay at home mom of 3 handsome boys 18, 16, 8 and have
been married to the best guy in the whole world for almost 19 years now! I started scrapbooking when
my oldest son was 5 yrs. old. He had just started kindergarten and I wanted to be apart of everything
at school! So I joined the PTA! They were looking for an historian... Had no clue what that was at the time!
I asked a friend to help me out and she taught me the basics of scrapbooking! That was over 13 years ago!
Boy I've come along way since then! tehehe I started making cards about 5 1/2 yrs. ago when a family
member had a baby. They loved the card I made (I didn't) but they did and It kind of just grew from there!
I was recently published in the Cricut Cards Magazine, which was the highlight of my life! I share my blog with my sister,
who was never a crafter until she came to visit me one year! Got her hooked just like that! I love teaching my
crafty friends new ways to create and have held a couple of cricut classes at my home and the LSS! I think my
crafting style is more clean and simple. I love layering and popping things up! Inking is my second favorite thing to do!
I love using Card stock from Stampin' Up, and my favorite paper companies are, Bo Bunny, MME, Imaginisce, DCWV!
I also enjoy Digital Scrapbooking these days! It's so much fun and easy to do that I can get lots of
scrapbooking pages done quickly! My favorite program right now is the one from Stampin' Up Called "My Digital Studio"!
I can make pages so quickly with that program and I've even designed Hybrid cards with it!
When I'm not crafting (that's rarely)... I'm hanging out with my family in the kitchen. I LOVE baking/cooking, so that's were
my family spends a lot of time. I also enjoy company! I LOVE it when family comes to visit me! :o)

Spotlight Friday

Hello Everyone! We have another talented crafter to Spotlight this Friday! Let me introduce you to Rachelle from I'm Black Martha!

First I am really thankful that you all chose me to be a guest designer. I retired from the automotive industry in February 2008 and still work part-time in an auto related industry. I'm 54 and have been married for almost two years and don't have any children. Some co-workers were supposed to teach me scrapbooking in 2000 but nothing ever came of that. I took some classes at a local scrapbooking store soon after I was married. I wanted to scrapbook my wedding but also wanted to make a scrapbook for my husband of happy times because I was having some complications from breast cancer that was in remission from earlier that same year.

I especially like card making and am currently supplying cards to a woman that has an upscale boutique where my cards are selling for $15 a piece. Who'd a thunk! I don't know if I have a particular style but I love working with Copic markers and digitial images and for scrapbooking pages I love using layouts from the Close To My Heart scrapbooking program. I'd be lost without my hot glue gun!

In my spare time I enjoy sewing, bowling, playing the violin, reading, and riding my Harley Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle.

I have been married to by best friend for 26 years and have 3 beautiful daughters ages 24, 25, and 30. I have always been a crafter and decided to try scrapbooking about 8 years ago. I started with an all inclusive kit and the obsession took off. Then about 3 years ago a girlfriend took me to a Stampin' Up workshop and if possible, my love for paper grew 10-fold. Then my 25 year old talked me into creating a blog which opened up a whole new avenue of the craft. Besides crafting and spending time with my family, I enjoy cooking, baking, and traveling with our 5th wheel.
